Select supported font families, assign heading and body roles, and verify the real pages where typography has to work.
CMS Max Theme Configuration exposes available Google Fonts and system font choices, then applies selected families through the active theme configuration.
Configure typography
- 01Open Template and Theme Configuration.
- 02Select the supported font families. Add only the families and variants the design needs.
- 03Assign heading and body fonts. Use the primary selection for headings and the secondary selection for body copy.
- 04Review menu typography. Configure parent and child menu font behavior where the active theme exposes it.
- 05Save and inspect representative pages. Check long headings, forms, product data, tables, buttons, and mobile navigation.
Performance and resilience
- Limit families and weights to reduce font work and transfer size.
- Keep a readable fallback stack for unavailable or delayed font files.
- Test language characters and symbols used by the site.
- Avoid typography choices that force text clipping or unreadably small controls.
