Accept the files your workflow needs while keeping size, type, privacy, and review responsibilities explicit.
CMS Max file-upload fields accept one file per field, up to 50 MB, store submissions privately, and validate against the platform extension list.
Current upload behavior
Each file-upload field accepts one file with a maximum size of 50 MB. Add another upload field when a workflow needs more than one document. Uploaded submission files use private storage and remain available to authorized administrators through the form workflow.

Before publishing the form
- State the allowed file types and 50 MB limit beside the upload field.
- Collect only files the business has a defined need and retention policy for.
- Test a valid file, an unsupported extension, and an oversized file.
- Treat file extensions as one control, not proof that uploaded content is safe or appropriate.
