Authorize.Net Fraud Detection Suite

Below are some recommendations on how to configure your Authorize.net account to help prevent spam.

Go to Fraud Settings under Payments to find these settings.

1. Hourly Velocity Filter: Enable filter, 50 transactions per hour, decline transaction.  (view screenshot)
2. Transaction IP Velocity Filter: Enable filter, 3 transactions per hour, decline transaction.  (view screenshot)
   * Please note: if you are entering payments on behalf of customers or using the same IP or Computer to do transactions, you may want to consider making this number larger than 3.
3. Enhanced AVS Handling Filter:  Enable filter, decline N & A. (view screenshot)
4. Enhanced CCV Handling Filter: Enable filter, decline N.  (view screenshot)
5. Regional IP Address Filter: Enable filter, decline all regions except North America
