Integrate Clover to CMS Max

Clover Integration Guide

Connect Clover to CMS Max

Follow these steps to create the Clover API token and find the correct Clover MID for Nexus Connector onboarding.

Important: the Clover MID needed for onboarding comes from the Clover URL, not the merchant number on a processing statement.

Find the correct Clover MID

  1. In Clover, click More in the left column.
  2. Look at the browser URL. It should look similar to this:
https://www.clover.com/appmarket/m/0FAYABCTFN6KE1

Copy the value after /m/. In this example, the MID is 0FAYABCTFN6KE1.

Quick troubleshooting

No API tokens option?

Confirm the Clover user has permission to manage business settings and API access.

Token not working?

Create a fresh token and make sure all Read and Write permissions are selected.

MID rejected?

Use the ID after /m/ in the Clover URL, not the statement merchant number.
