What makes a page system-required
A system-required page is connected to platform routing or an installed capability. The exact list varies by site and plugin set. Common examples include the homepage, search or 404 handling, authentication views, cart experiences, and index pages for installed content products such as Blog, Careers, Events, or Store Locations.
What administrators can change
- Page content, metadata, crawl setting, layout, and supported presentation controls, subject to the page type.
- Reusable sections placed around the page content through the selected layout.
- Plugin listing and item display settings exposed by that module.
- Navigation links that lead customers to the route.
