Add a real-time chat widget to your website for live customer support

Overview

The LiveChat plugin adds a LiveChat widget to your website, enabling real-time conversations with visitors. Your support team can respond to questions instantly, improving customer service and conversions.

Setup

  1. Navigate to Settings > Plugins
  2. Find LiveChat and click to open the settings page
  3. Click Save and Install

Adding Your LiveChat Code

  1. Log in to your LiveChat account at livechat.com
  2. Go to your account settings and find the embed code (sometimes called the tracking code or widget code)
  3. Copy the code snippet
  4. Paste it into the Content field in the plugin settings
  5. Click Save

The chat widget will appear on your website for visitors to use.

Customizing the Chat Widget

All widget customization, including appearance, position, colors, and behavior, is managed directly through your LiveChat dashboard at livechat.com. Changes you make there are reflected automatically on your website.
