Open AI

AI-powered content generation for your CMS Max website.

Overview

The Open AI plugin integrates AI-powered content generation into your CMS Max admin panel. Use it to generate meta descriptions, optimize browser titles, and create other copy — all from within the editor.

Getting Started

To enable the Open AI plugin, navigate to Settings > Plugins in your admin panel, locate Open AI, and click Install.

Plugin Settings

After installation, the plugin settings page provides three tabs:

Meta Description

Configure AI-generated meta descriptions for your pages:

  • Site Name — your business name (used in the AI prompt)
  • Target Area — optional geographic focus for local SEO
  • Minimum / Maximum Characters — length constraints for generated descriptions (default: 155-170 characters)
  • Default Prompt — the prompt template sent to OpenAI (supports {url}, {site_name}, {target_area} placeholders)

Browser Title

Configure AI-generated browser titles:

  • Minimum / Maximum Characters — length constraints for generated titles (default: 50-60 characters)
  • Default Prompt — the prompt template (supports {current_title}, {character_count}, {url} placeholders)

API Settings

  • AI Model — choose between available OpenAI models
  • API Key Type — use the CMS Max Enterprise Account or enter your own API key
