Dashboard
Dashboard
Your /webadmin landing page now shows live ecommerce data when the Ecommerce plugin is active. This page is a snapshot — every number is for the date range you pick at the top.
What you'll see
Top row — five KPI cards:
- Orders to fulfill — how many orders are still waiting for action. Click to jump to a filtered orders list.
- Gross sales — total before discounts/returns/taxes. Click to drill into the Sales Report.
- Returning customer rate — percentage of buyers in the period who had ordered before.
- Orders fulfilled — orders you've completed in this period.
- Orders — total orders placed in the period.
When you pick a comparison period, every card shows a delta vs. that period (e.g. "↑ 12% vs previous") — green = up, red = down. With No comparison selected (the default), the cards show the current value only.
Charts: Total sales over time, and Average order value over time. The primary line is always shown; when a comparison period is selected, a dotted line for the comparison renders on top so you can spot trend shifts at a glance. The granularity changes automatically — hourly when you pick a single day, daily up to 30d, weekly beyond that.
Sales breakdown: the same 8 rows your accountant cares about — Gross → Discounts → Returns → Net → Shipping → Return fees → Taxes → Total.
Top products: your 5 best-selling products by net sales for the period. Click any row to edit that product.
Orders to fulfill table: the actionable list. Each row has buttons that appear only when relevant for that order's fulfillment method.
Filtering
Use the bar at the top:
- Date range — Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 30 days (default), Last 90 days.
- Compare to — No comparison (default), Previous period, or Previous year.
Changes apply instantly — no page reload. The URL updates so you can bookmark a particular view.
Marking orders fulfilled / shipped / ready for pickup
In the Orders to fulfill table at the bottom of the dashboard, each row may show one or more action buttons:
- Mark Shipped — appears on shipping orders waiting to ship. Click → confirm → the package is logged as shipped.
- Mark Ready for Pickup — appears on in-store and curbside pickup orders. Click → confirm → the customer gets notified (if email is enabled in your settings).
- Mark Fulfilled — appears once an order has reached an intermediate state (or for non-DoorDash methods straight from Processing). This is the final step.
After you click a button, the order disappears from the table and the Orders to fulfill count above updates immediately.
When the Ecommerce plugin isn't installed
The dashboard page still loads, but only your existing notification widgets (low stock, abandoned cart prompts, etc.) appear. There is no filter bar and no widget grid. Install the Ecommerce plugin from the Plugins page to enable the full dashboard.
Tips
- The "Orders to fulfill" count refreshes on its own every 30 seconds.
- Click any card or row label to drill into the underlying data.
- The dotted line on charts appears only when you've picked a comparison period — handy for seeing if "today" is doing better than yesterday.
