#Overview

The Reviews plugin gives you a built-in system for collecting and displaying customer reviews on your website. You have full control over which reviews appear, how they are organized, and where they show up — all managed from your admin panel without needing any external review platform.

#Getting Started

To enable the Reviews plugin, navigate to Settings > Plugins in your admin panel, locate Testimonials, and click Install. Once activated, a Testimonials section will appear in your admin navigation.

#How It Works

When visitors submit a review through your website, it is held for your approval before appearing publicly. You review and approve submissions in the admin panel, keeping full control over what your visitors see.

#Managing Reviews

1. Go to Testimonials in your admin panel
2. New, unreviewed submissions appear in your review queue
3. For each submission, you can:
   • Approve it to make it visible on your website
   • Hide it to keep it out of public view without deleting it
   • Categorize it by assigning it to a review category

#Organizing Reviews by Category

You can create categories to group reviews by topic, product, service, or location. Categorizing reviews makes it easier to display them in the right context across different pages of your website.

#Configuring How Reviews Display

For each area of your website where reviews appear, you can control:

• Which reviews are shown — filter by category or other criteria
• How many reviews appear — set a maximum display count
• What information is visible — choose whether to show the reviewer's location, the submission date, and the star rating

#Email Notifications

The plugin can send you an email alert whenever a new review is submitted, so you know right away when there is something waiting for your approval. Contact your site administrator to configure notification recipients.
