Configuring Product Detail Display

Choose which information appears in the Product Specifications section on product detail pages

Overview

Every product detail page on your storefront can show a Product Specifications card with details like brand, availability, weight, dimensions, SKU, and stock. You decide which of these fields are visible to your customers, so you can tailor the page to your brand and your products.

Where to Find These Settings

  1. Go to eCommerce > Store Settings.
  2. Click the Features tab.
  3. Scroll to the Product Specifications Items section.

This section only appears when Enable Product Specifications is turned on at the top of the Features tab. If you turn that master toggle off, the entire Product Specifications card is hidden on the storefront.

What Each Toggle Controls

Every toggle is enabled by default, which matches how the storefront has always behaved. Turn off any field you don't want customers to see.

Toggle What it shows on the product page
Show Brand The product's brand name (only available when Enable Brands is also turned on)
Show Availability An "In Stock" / "Out of Stock" / "Pre-order" / "Backorder" badge
Show Condition The product's condition (e.g. New, Used, Refurbished) — used when condition is set on a product
Show Weight The product's weight in pounds — used when weight is set on a product
Show Dimensions The product's length, width, and height — used when all three are set on a product
Show SKU The product's SKU code
Show Stock / Inventory The remaining quantity — used when inventory tracking is enabled on a product

Note: A row only shows up on the storefront if the product actually has data for it. For example, if a product has no SKU set, the SKU row will be hidden even with Show SKU turned on.

Hiding the Whole Section

There are two ways to hide the entire Product Specifications card from your storefront:

  • Turn off Enable Product Specifications at the top of the Features tab. This hides the entire section and also hides the per-field toggles below it.
  • Leave Enable Product Specifications on but turn off every individual field. The card will not appear if there's nothing to display.

Tips

  • If you sell products where physical specs aren't relevant (e.g. digital goods), turn off Show Weight and Show Dimensions to keep your product pages clean.
  • If you don't want customers to see how much stock you have left, turn off Show Stock / Inventory while leaving inventory tracking on.
  • The Show Brand toggle is automatically disabled when Enable Brands (above) is turned off, since there's no brand data to display in that case.

Saving Your Changes

After adjusting any toggles, click Save at the bottom of the Store Settings page. Changes take effect immediately on the storefront — no rebuild is required.
