Events
Create and publish event listings on your website with configurable dates and times.
Overview
The Events plugin lets you create and manage event listings that appear on your website. You can publish upcoming events with full scheduling details, keeping your visitors informed about what is happening and when.

Creating an Event
- In your admin panel, navigate to Events in the left menu
- Click New Event
- Fill in the event details:
- Title — the name of your event
- Start date and time — when the event begins
- End date and time — when the event concludes
- Any additional details such as description, location, or images
- Click Save to publish the event to your website

Editing an Event
- Go to Events in the admin panel
- Find the event you want to update and click on it
- Make your changes and click Save
Removing an Event
Events that have passed or been cancelled can be unpublished or deleted from the Events list. Unpublishing removes the event from your website without permanently deleting it, so you can restore it later if needed.
Displaying Events on Your Website
Events appear on your website automatically once published. The display location and layout depend on your site's theme and how events have been configured. Contact your site administrator if you need help adjusting where or how events appear on your pages.
Display types
The Events List widget offers four Display Type options:
| Display Type | What visitors see |
|---|---|
| List | One card per event, stacked down the page — image (or a calendar placeholder), name, date and location. |
| Bullet List | A plain bulleted list of event names only, each linking to the event. No images, dates or cards. |
| Grid | The same cards as List, arranged in 2, 3 or 4 columns. |
| Calendar | A month calendar with events on their dates. |
Choose Bullet List when you want a compact set of links — a sidebar, or a short "what's on" block alongside other content. Choose List when each event deserves its own row with the date and location visible.
Common Questions
How do I control the order of events on the page?
Events are displayed in chronological order based on their start date and time. The Direction setting chooses between Oldest to Newest and Newest to Oldest.
Events whose date is still TBD are always shown, and they always appear at the end of the list — after every event that has a date, in both directions. Among themselves, TBD events follow the chosen direction, ordered by the date they were created. So a list of events on December 7 and December 20 plus a TBD event shows December 7, then December 20, then the TBD event.
Can I have recurring events?
Events support multiple dates. When creating an event, you can add multiple date entries for recurring occurrences.
